How does it work

When you push the foam applicator onto the wart or verruca, it instantly freezes it to the core. The skin around the treated area may turn white and you'll probably feel a slight aching, stinging sensation from the freezing. Once you remove the applicator, your skin's colour will return to normal.

Once the area has thawed and the colour has returned, the frozen area may turn slightly red. A blister may form under the wart or verruca within a few days because of the freezing, although you probably won't be able to see it.

The frozen skin and the wart or verruca that you've treated should gradually disappear or fall off in a about 10 to 14 days. In the meantime, you will have grown new, healthy skin under the blister. If the wart, or part of it, is still there 2 weeks after you've treated it, it's then safe to treat it again. Each Wartner pack contains 12 disposable foam applicators.
